The short courses taught at the School will tackle key political and social issues of contemporary Middle East and its current transformations. The Summer School favors a political science approach offering interpretations that are useful to understand the main critical issues at the international, regional and national levels. Specific methodological sessions will be foreseen. The variety of approaches is designed to provide the students with a valuable, inter-disciplinary set of tools whatever their primary interest may be in the wider realm of Middle East’s politics, political economy and foreign policy.
The programme is a learning experience made unique by the diverse mix of participants and instructors, drawn from the best universities, institutions and think tanks in the world. Lecturers are international distinguished scholars on contemporary Middle East and are committed to providing scientifically rigorous classes while addressing key themes of the current transformations in the Middle East region. All Summer School participants are considered part of the wider Turin University community and are afforded the same rights and privileges as regular students. The atmosphere around the Campus Luigi Einaudi is convivial and interactive, making it easy to develop friendships which will last well beyond the programme’s conclusion.
